Binge Drinking

The effects depends on several factors: the amount taken at one time, whether the person has recently ate, and the user’s tolerance level. Binge drinking leads to a lot of long term effects. It affects the brain, and people start to achieve memory loss. When getting older, memory loss occurs, but drinking heavily makes it worse. Also, drinking excessively causes liver damage. The liver will eventually deteriorate, resulting in death. Binge drinking also causes frequent urination. All these fluids are coming in and do not have anywhere else to go, causing a person to urinate more often. Getting up and going to the bathroom every twenty minutes can get a little annoying, especially if you are at a place that requires standing in a long line to use the bathroom, and even worse if a person is somewhere that does not have a restroom at all. All these effects should make a person not want to drink, but people must overlook these bad things that can happen to them, and still proceed to drink heavily. There are many effects on the body and mind which can result in negative consequences. Vomiting and nausea happen almost every time a person drinks an excessive amount. The nausea usually happens first, causing the person to become dizzy. Shortly after, the user then vomits. Vomiting does not always happen just once, the person is usually vomiting all night, which is definitely not pleasant. It makes the eyes water and the body weak. If a person throws up while they are unconscious or asleep, then they can suffocate on their own vomit, resulting in death. If someone drinks a lot and then gets behind the wheel, they are likely to get in a wreck, and injure themselves or other innocent drivers. Binge drinking causes impaired vision, making it impossible to drive safely. Frequent binge drinkers are more likely not to attend their classes or Lewis 3 jobs, and fall behind in daily responsibilities. When these types of patterns start to occur, a special attention must be given to these individuals. There may be external consequences that are visible to the everyday eye. The most serious cases are the ones who’s families have to suffer from a loved one that has strayed away from the very people that care about them.
