...s Soft Determinism. The past has a strong influence on the future is called Indeterminism. Lastly, Libertarianism is when human beings are free agents with causal power. I think that some of our past does determine our future. Like people who are born into wealthy families rarely have a problem with money. I think that would be an example of Indeterminism. On the other hand, someone that is born into a poor family could either marry someone wealthy or create their own wealth. This would describe a person who is a free agent. We also looked at Absolutism. This is one truth or only one way. In Christian faith we could refer to salvation and the Bible say’s the one way or truth would be through Jesus. We are saved through His grace. Objectivism is one truth but you can get to that truth in many different ways. For example a lot of people believe there are many different ways to get to heaven.
