Rodrigo is a person that would do anything for money in the beginning of movie. For living, he killed and captured some Indian man and sold them as slave. Rodrigo trusted everyone and was happy with his life until he saw his own brother cheating on him. He killed his brother in rage and realizes he can’t trust anyone anymore. He locked him self into a room and try to stay away from people much as he could. He had no interest in life no more and felt guilty for death of his brother. The Christian monk finds out about the situation of Rodrigo and Monk wanted to help Rodrigo and showed him different path of life.
