The credit card company Mastercard is shown as selling happiness, however they are really trying to sell their cards. The commercials make the viewer long to have an experience like the one they saw, and realize that no matter what the cost is of everything involved, it's worth it in the end. I believe that this was a brilliant choice for marketing. People are easily swayed and influenced by everyone's view of a good time, or a good experience and are willing to spend money thinking that they will definitely be successful in their goal.
