The U.S. Constitution states that all humans have the same rights, therefore, the union between a same-sex couple should be legalize in the United States. Gay marriage would enable homosexual couples to adopt children. Former Georgia Congressman, Bob Barr, who remains firm against gay marriage, argues “Men and Women were both differently and complementary. They were built for procreation, the basic building block of society. Matrimony has always drawn as unique and positive.” Though a same-sex couple cannot procreate offspring, they could offer a home and economic stability to adopted children. One of the biggest problems in the United States is child exploitation, and what I mean by this is that children on the streets are being sexually exploited. These children do not have any choices and are obligated to prostitute themselves. This is a fact; this is the reality that America is facing. Now, don’t you thin all this could be avoided by legalizing marriage between same-sex couple and enabling them to adopt and rescue these children who are needy of a home and truly affection? Others fear that gay parents by their everyday example will cause generations of gay children, but it is clear that homosexuality is something that you were born with not something that you were taught of.
