ps2 vs xbox (argumentative)
... the question. On top of connection problem X-box also makes its users pay a yearly fee to play online while ps2’s online play is still free. Although both consoles play great over the internet, the ps2’s is more practical in the fact that its free and for people that don’t have the luxury of broadband can still play. Besides from just online games, the ps2 has a lot of great titles to choose from. Sony has had a reputation of great console making since the release of the Playstation 1. With the release of the ps2 it was under great pressure to make games that would match up to the ps1 along with different consoles. The ps2 has been known to put out much anticipated games such as Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, and Grand Theft Auto. Although many games still average at the fifty dollar range, Sony has put together a, “Greatest Hits,” series that includes all the top selling games to date for only twenty dollars. When money is put into a ps2 great games are on the way, online entertainment, and a DVD player is also included in the package. Video games aren’t the only thing that consoles are making available any more when it comes to home entertainment. The ps2 and the X-box include a full functioning DVD player that will be able to play any DVD as long as the console is hooked up directly to the TV.
