A First Drive
...introduction, I had no idea to turn on the key. The coach looked mad and he told me to pay more attention. After that, he showed me how to do it and told me to follow. Ten minutes passed and I began my first driving experience on a real road instead of a computer game. At first, I felt comfortable and confidence, so I began to accelerate the car. Nevertheless, the coach told me not to drive too fast and warned me that he would not let me drive anymore if I kept driving fast. I felt sad because it contradicted my previous wish. After a while, my first challenge came while the coach told me to make a right turn. At first, I thought it’s a piece of cake, however, I could not control the wheel properly and the car changed its direction. “Bee!” A trunk was coming toward us. The coach changed the wheel into a proper position immediately without any fear. “I almost had a car accident.” “I almost hurt!” “How did I be so careless?” All those sentences appeared in my mind, and I began to feel worried. Unexpectedly, the coach did not say anything this time except a “huh”. After the scary, I began to lose my confidence. I tried to drive carefully and prevented any similar incidents to happen again. Unfortunately, I could not control my body anymore. I began to feel hot because my blood was running faster than before. My legs were numb and I was sweating unstoppably. In the meantime, the coach was still giving all kinds of instructions. I began to feel annoying and hated the coach. At that particular time, I promised that I did not want to drive anymore because it’s not interesting and funny at all, besides, it’s very dangerous and it can take my precious life without a second. Almost half and a hour passed, I began to relax because I knew that my training time was almost over. Unfortunately, another terrible incident happened, which almost took a person’s life. The whole process was that when I was driving, my mind was in nowhere. After I saw a red light in front of me, I stepped on my brake. However, I stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brake. The result was that the car headed toward a pedestrian. At that time, I lost my mind completely and did not know what to do.
