...re jeans that thought did not cross her mind. Instead of being concerned about when the new pink and white Jordans came out she contemplated whatever complex thought that happened to cross her mind that day. She was not worried about fitting in and even made a mockery of all of the other students for dressing with what was considered the “trend”. On a day-to-day basis she continually dressed in outlandish outfits, mixing colors and patterns, army boots with skirts, anything you can think of. Because of her actions she was consequently the object of ridicule upon many occasions. I myself have been guilty of the crime several times. She was laughed at and made fun of all because she believed in individuality and didn’t want to fall victim to the plainness of other students. Instead of being praised for her courageousness to go against the grain and be a pioneer to fashion she was looked up with mockery. Her individuality was thought to be bizarre and because it was not common it was teased. No one was hurt by her style of dress in fact she was a positive teaching tool but this was not recognized, instead ignored and laughed at. The political election takes place every four years. Every election two main candidates from the democratic and republican party go head to head, blow for blow. Debates, special appearances and such all are supposed to be so the voters can hear the candidates’ views and pick a side. Now a days though these events are gossip feast, you go to the debates to see which candidate can come up with the most amount of dirt about the other and inquire them on every mistake every made in the last 30 years of their life. Not only is their dirt dug up about the candidate but about their family as well. Many people choose not to run for office just for the sake of their family. They do not want to victimize their family and expose them to that chaos. In the 2004 Presidential election on many occasions, President Bush mentioned many faults made by Senator Kerry. Things that have happened some twenty odd years ago somehow come up in question. Now we are not here to say that Senator Kerry is innocent either, quite the contrary. He has man...
