My Computer Career
... here where a new world opened before my eyes – the world of computer. I learned how to develop an easy program, a data base, and so on. I acquired my first computer in 1997 – a Compaq. It was sad that we were sold a problematic computer; the clock didn’t even work. My parents knew nothing about computers. I didn’t know much about hard wares either and it was my first time to use visual operation system (Windows 95). Apparently, we were cheated by the computer shop. I began to be an avid net surfer. I opened my own email account. I read news everyday and asked questions about computers on the BBS. I also bought a mount of computer science magazines. I started to study the “C” language, a deeper developing language and got interested in hacking. After several months of hard work, I successfully invaded the computers in Shenyang, in the other parts of China, and even in the US and Canada. As I knew nothing about Japanese, I was off limits to Japan. Despite my hacking skill, I never tampered any data in the computers. I just did it for fun. My second computer was excellent although very expensive. The Dell package included an LCD monitor. I didn’t have to bear the old, slow, unsteady anymore. With my new computer, I developed many hacking soft wares. In the year 2001, I had to take an important examination that would decide which junior middle school should I study in. I made it to the best school in northeast China so, as a prize, my parents bought me a laptop computer. I benefited a lot from the computer. Aside from the technical knowledge that I gained about computers, my English progressed tremendously.
