My trip to camp
...he campsite because it sounded fun. It was the exact opposite. There was no electricity, we had to sleep in tents, and we had to pump our own water. I thought I would never last seven days. After settling into our cabins, we were called for dinner. For dinner that night we were eating beef stroganoff. I was kind off disappointed since I didn’t really like it. I lived through it until finally dinner was finished. After dinner, we had bible study, game time, then devotions and bed. The counselors had said that tomorrow we get to go horseback riding. I was thrilled because I’ve gone horseback riding before and it was a blast. That night I could barely sleep from all the worry and excitement. Finally, I seemed to somehow drift away to sleep. For a split second I didn’t know what was going on until the horse went up on its front two legs and kicked my horse right in the face. Of course, my horse nearly bucked me off by going on its back two legs. After it all happened, I was thankful that I was still on my horse. The first thing my friends said to me instead of asking if I was alright was this, “AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”. They were cracking up and had no idea how scared I had just been. I just rode the last mile or two about ten feet behind the horse in front of me. After we had gotten off the horses and walked back to our campsite, we had game time. After that we basically did nothing the rest of the day except lunch and dinner. The next couple days were the same, we would eat meals, have bible study and play games. On Thursday, the day before we left, we were supposed to go on a twenty-mile bike trip. It was fun for the first eight miles, but then we started getting really tired. I was afraid I was going to faint. Another kid and I would ride in the back of the...
