...set the mood for the story. The crimson rose captured everyone’s attention because of its beauty and color. Moments later, a monstrous beast appears and threatens his life, allowing the merchant to leave unharmed only after the merchant promises to send the youngest daughter to the beast instead. The monstrous beast had a great intricate costume and a manly deep voice which startled me because it was so loud. I enjoyed watching Belle, who is played by Christy Carlson Romano possessing natural movements that portray her mood . My most favorite aspect of this musical was the 360 degree rotating scene which changed the settings frequently. Characters like the lamp and clock also made me laugh because they both talked in French accents. Often, they got into altercations about girls and better looks, which made me laugh as well.
