So the big deal right now, on my mind anyway, is The Source Awards. Ok, we all know that The Source sucks a dick as a magazine and how its all paid for by record labels and how Benzino is a fuckin clown and all of that. But The Source is killin me and theyre killin themselves with the outright player hatred that they show to Eminem. ... The latest Source move for this last week seems to be more of a two-hit combo. ... Once again, The Source trying to breathe even more life into this stupid obsession they have with saying that Eminem, who obviously is the target for the white people in general, are trying to take over and pimp out hip hop. ... The Source is owned by white people. ... Yo, if I was The Source Id be running articles on how clown punk emcees like Juelz Santana are ruining hip hop by being so talentless. Come on now, Source, youre the longest running hip hop magazine ever, like it or not The Source is a hip hop staple. ... But this brings me to my next topic to address, The Source Awards. ... Yes, BET will be airing this years Source Awards, but not without getting a full month to edit out footage -- you know, stray bullets, blood stains, bleeping out unneeded curses, blurring out Lil Kims breasts. ... I mean, come on, The Source wouldnt nominate a bunch of wack emcees who no one likes, right? ...
So this years Source Awards take place in Miami. ... Im thinkin of catching a plane down to Miami, buy some fake ice and rock a white t-shirt, tell bitches Im Just Blaze or something, someone no one remembers the face of so I could pull it off. ... Youre probably thinking "I misread that name, that wasnt the same Benzino that owns The Source? ... Its like "Come on, Source", you guys are shooting yourself in the foot. No one liked that "Rock The Party" song, it was in regular rotation in DC for like one month maybe.
