Influence Essay
.... To be honest I don’t understand how she finds so much time to give to us. What I find amazing about her is that after all this she finds time to study. She studying to be a nurse. Everyday she has an hour or two of study time. Her responsibility, her love, and her dedication I found truly admirable. This has really influenced me in becoming a better person. By taking care of responsibilities and being dedicated I have found out I can better my self. I see my mom at the park playing with my smallest brother. He is 7 years old. The way she leaves work just to be with him for a couple minutes in the park is truly incredible. She will leave anything she is doing for any of us. Every time I get in trouble she finds a way to teach me a lesson. She lets things happen, and does not protect me at times so I can learn from that certain experience. Once I was in trouble with my soccer coach. She didn’t stick up for me. She let things happen as I made a choice to stay on the team or not. She knew I was going to become more independent and responsible by making my own decisions. If it was the wrong decision, consequences will be there to make me learn from my own mistake. Everyone’s mom is a big influence. It can be a good or bad influence. How ever our parents treat us will reflect on the way we are. To me there is no greater influence then that.
