Growing up in poverty, they look at the success and beauty of our country and dream to come here to pursue that opportunity for success along with the help of hard work. People see us as a land of opportunity, where anything is possible as long as you put in your two cents worth into it. In America, you have the freedom to do as you wish as long as it’s reasonable. You are free to speak your mind, practice what you preach, and free to pursue what you want in life. People have different views of achieving success in America. Some people strive to earn it through hard work and effort, others think they can achieve it just by living in the country, like someone would hand it over to them. Sadly, a large number of people living in America have that kind of mentality, and soon realize that their effort had failed them. It’s just that in America, it’s easier to achieve those goals because of the opportunities we offer. Lastly, there’s the last group who would do anything as long as they achieved their goals. They would fulfill this either through either cheating or using people and taking advantage of them to get them to where they want to be. These people are very greedy and selfish, and only care for themselves and how they’ll get successful.
