My SIgnificant Object

...itars. I stood in awe of the 20 foot wall hanging hundreds of guitars right in front of me and like a sign, in front of me was the guitar that I had in mind. A dark sunburst, 24 fret with maple neck, strat. As I plugged it in to one of the nearby amps, my excitement took over and I couldn’t let the guitar go. It was as if I had discovered something new and I was studying it frantically, anticipating for the real worth beyond the object. A couple of minutes later my dad helped me choose an amp and we left shortly after. On the way home my mind was racing, I was too excited to think of anything else but my guitar and when I got home I played and nothing else mattered. Ever since the first day I got my guitar, its been a part of my everyday life. It seemed as if I could never let it go. Right when I would get home after school I would play guitar, when I was bored I played guitar, whether I was happy or sad I would pick up my guitar. I also felt that my guitar was a stress reliever in a way and at the same time helped me to explore new things and look at music in a whole new perspective. For example, I soon started listening to jazz and softer music and felt the need to have it with me all the time.
