However, though many young females in today's society feel the need to stand out and make a rebellious statement against all forms of authority by testing the boundaries of the dess code and wearing proactive clothing to school, there is a rule to follow and it's up to parents and teachers to enforce it. To a student like myself, the youth of today have become significantly influenced by media image and their attempt to mirror these false idols. They have lost sight of a respectable image and many, including parent Q say "The outfits of many of today's students are overly proactive." However, others look at this growing problem differently, Teacher W, who experieces this problem daily says "It's nobody's business what student's wear to school - save the students themselves". Even though the two views are very different, they both agree that media has influenced students in the wrong way. At school, the outfits of some of the females is nothing short of an eye sore to most, and a distraction to others. Despite the effort of many students and some teachers to get these girls to cover up, they still on insist on wearing their vulgar attire. These defiant acts against dress code are slowly getting out of hand, and mainly teachers and parents need to start enforcing the rules and consequences to these inappropriate actions.
