I was almost sickened by how realistic the scene was when he molest his sister, I had to make myself remember this is just a play. After seeing this production I finally realize why you constantly tell us to work on our memorization and blocking because it shows in every performance. In this case Asher McClinton, who played Antonio wasn’t as good as he should have been. When I think of the lead in a play I picture someone jus t taking over the play with their actions. Antonio took the play over in a negative way, he was dull and hard to understand at times. It seemed like he had just got off book that day because when he was saying his lines he didn’t seem confident. He really didn’t bring his character to life. One performance that wasn’t my favorite, but did a good job was that of Patrick Reager who played Bosola. He was very good in his enunciation and hid blocking was great.
