... to learn. Test which items actually teach. Yep, some items teach steal more than others. I HIGHLY suggest doing this. Get your stealing to learning. Steal the cheapest item and then check your experience. If you're not thoughtful in stealing, try a more spensive item. If nothing in the shop gets you from learning to thoughtful, skip the shop!! Shop anywhere BUT crossings. Those shop owners have great vision and are VERY perceptive. Not to mention the incredibly perceptive and highly motivated newly hired guards in the town itself. Also haven is the second worst place to shop. Try Shard, Ratha, or Aesry. Steal items others arent. Those shop owners will notice if 50 envelopes are missing but might not notice if only 1 were stolen recently. I can't put enough emphasis on this. One huge mistake people are making is creating a stealing script then sharing it with their friends who then share it with their friends. Drop items after you steal em. Unless you're trying to make money to pay your fine which we all know is close to impossible :) (by shoplifting anyway) The items weigh you down. Drop em. Eat your cookies before you shop. Shopping on an empty stomach is risky. Tummy might growl and give ya away. :) I personally only use one cookie.(Skulk) NOT two. (Skulk and Support) Never hit the same shop twice in under 12 minutes. Sneak in the shop and out if possible. Hide when shopping. NO WOUNDS None, none none not even slight internals. NONE! Train your stats...discipline, agility, charisma. etc... keep everything well rounded. Cant tell you enough how much charisma affects stealing now and being caught. When youre done stealing, find a friends house to rest mode in, if possible, and try to find one in town. Dont forget to recheck if the things youre stealing are still getting you from learning to tho...
