The Fearful Accident
...ittle more than half way out the road and we had come to this hill with a curve to the left. As I was driving, around and up the hill, I moved toward the center of the road to avoid going over the side, which was like an eight-foot drop off. Coming to the top of this hill there was a truck coming towards us. As both vehicles reached the top of the hill we collided with our front left headlights. From the impact of the hit, my car had spun around backgrounds and went down over the hillside and we ended up in someone’s front yard. The family came running outside and made sure that everyone was okay and that no one was hurt. They then called the Sheriff’s Department to report that there was a wreck. In the meantime, she called our parents and let them know what had happened. The Sheriff arrived at the scene. First, he looked around at the damage down to the two vehicles and he looked at the skid marks. Second, he talked to the driver of the truck and got his side of the story and released him to leave. Third, he came and talked to me about what had happened. He then had to fill out a police report. Aft...
