In all-girls’ schools, perpetual prejudice against girls being unable to learn certain subjects, such as math, science and computers, has narrowed girls’ educational opportunities. It is unfair to segregate girls from boys in these classes because girls do their tasks as well as boys do, sometimes girls even outperform boys in these courses. Thus, coed is an educational environment that makes girls feel more comfortable because it creates an equal learning chance that motivates their abilities. Girls are given equal time on classroom computers and encouraged to study math and science. These affect the educational futures of girls, and prepare them for careers in technology. Moreover, co-education offers conditions under which girls and boys can compete academically. Both boys and girls come to school, and they are there to learn. Each other do not distract them. The boys were not a tribulation or a distraction (M.Talbot); in contrast, the girls do not make an impression on boys. Both boys and girls learn lessons and handle questions together, and they compete with each other regardless of their sex in order to make much progress in their studying. Therefore, it is clear that co-education guarantees academic success for both sexes. Finally, co-education is better preparation for students’ future. Single-sex schools do not prepare girls to compete in a coed world, so attending coed schools will encourage girls’ abilities to compete with boys, and help them work successfully in science-related careers which usually are saved for boys.
