Police Action
...r cars turned on, parked parallel next to each other, but facing opposite directions as if they were talking to one another or sharing information. I was skeptical to go back to my car and drive kids because it seemed like my car was under constant surveillance, so I asked my friends to find another ride. They all found rides and so I assumed it was safe for me to go back to my car and leave, and I did. I drove past the two parked cruisers and looped around to the parking lot exit, then took a right onto Main street and was heading to my friend Jason’s house. I only noticed one cruiser start to follow me, but as soon as I pulled on to Main street he pulled me over. Not only him, but the other cruise came and parked behind him. The first man, who was older, approached my car and said “You’ve got a loud muffler there, is that custom?” I responded, “I’m pretty sure we bought the car like that.” He proceeded to ask for my license and registration, then after a bit he talked about how I was on my J.O.L. and shouldn’t have been driving other kids. Then he looked at me and said, “You’ve got rolling papers…” I wasn’t sure if it was a statement or question, but eventually he pointed to my center console and said “…right there.” I looked down and picked up what he was pointing to, which turned out to be a pack of gum, and then I offered him some gum but he said no. He probably felt dumb because his nose failed him. He really didn’t have anything to do, so he stood there and talked to me for a while about random stuff not relating to anything that was going on. He saw a sticker on my car that had something to do with boating, so I started telling him about how my family has a boat blah blah and more random talk about nothing. Eventually...
