...h, their god. The followers of Islam are Muslims. Islam shares the same belief as Jews and Christians, one God, and God’s prophets. Muhammad is known as the messenger of God, according to Islam religion, Muhammad was God’s last prophet. He received his first revelation in a cave on mount Hiram. Muhammad began to preach his central message in Mecca. In 622, he moved his followers to a city now known as Medina. Muslims date their calendars from his rah because of its importance. He finally won respect both as a great religious leader and as states men. Muhammad died in 632. The six beliefs are: belief in Allah, angles, holy books, the prophets of the Tenahk and The Bible, Judgment day, life after death, and the belief predestination. The Muslim coke of behavior is based on the belief that all life is created by Allah. Judaism is the faith of the Jewish people who live all over the world but share a history. Jews are born into their faith. Anyone born of a Jewish mother is counted as Jew, whether or not they observe the Jewish religious practices. The history of Jews goes back about 4000 years, when they were a nomadic people called the Hebrews living in what is now the Middle East. One Hebrew, Abraham, is seen as the father of the Jewish faith. Jews believe that God chose them to be his special people and made a conversant (contract) with Abraham, in about 1250 B.C. the Israelites escaped from Egypt.
