Jack the Ripper can also be classified as an “Organized Killer.” The term Organized Killer means the Ripper appeared normal to other people in society. He was dressed nicely, well behaved, and also related to others as a civilized human being. Most Organized Killers capture their victims by conning them, impersonating authoritative figures, or having a “friendly chat.” Many Serial Killers murder three or more people in the free escapades of terror before they are stopped. Jack the Ripper killed five women, possibly a sixth as well. Mary Ann Nichols was forty-four years old at her death, although it was hard to imagine from the sight of her beaten and bruised corpse. Annie Chapman was forty-five at her death; she had several diseases, including tuberculosis and syphilis, and was known as a heavy drinker. Even thought Annie was usually in court from being disorderly, she by no means deserved the horrid death that she endured. Catherine Eddoes was forty-sixth years old at the end of her life. Catherine had a fierce temper her whole life, but she did not deserve to be bludgeoned to death. The more pleasant looking woman who was s murdered was Mary Jane Kelly. Mary Jane was only twenty-five years old at the time of her passing. This young woman was always sober and was known as a strong person.
