...company have been working late into the night, disrupting the peace and tranquility that once surrounded the housing estate. Several residents have complained about the loss of sleep due to the excessive noise produced by the heavy machinery used for the construction project through the night. The loss of sleep has resulted in many students, including my son, not being able to concentrate well in class with a subsequent decline in his academic grades. Office workers like myself are also affected, leaving us unable to produce up-to-standard work. We work from nine in the morning to six in the evening, some even later, and it is extremely vital that we have sufficient rest in order to perform well at work. However, the excessive noise produced from the construction workers and heavy machinery has disrupted our sleep, leaving us tired and sleepy the next day. I have lodged several complains with the worksite supervisors, appealing to them to discontinue construction work after eight at night, but apparently my petitions have gone unanswered. T...
