Listening to the radio play helps me to examine the text and interpret the 5W1H by hearing the variation of tone, volume, emotion, dynamic, background and contracts. The background sound which shows their movements help me to have a better understanding of the event without translating word-for-word into my native language. Also, People can listen and assimilate material much faster than reading. Their speaking voices in the ratio play would more directly represent the characters in the play. At certain times, the depth of understanding on certain literature material with a degree of difficulty would depend on the repetition of phrases and continuous explaining of ideas, especially on Shakespeare’s literatures. Shakespeare’s creation of words, idioms, expressions, and his unique sense of communication style would definitely require a period of time of interpreting and analyzing instead of blindly following recorded radio play that was made by fluent Shakespearean speakers. Students who are lack of previous learning experiences of Shakespearean literature would find it very difficult to follow the fast moving dialogue and try to understand the content at the same time.
