Reader Response to "Little Red Riding Hood"

...grandmother’s house, eats granny, puts on her nightgown a crawls into her bed. When Red gets there, she doesn’t realize that the wolf is not her granny and is about to be eaten when a woodsman comes along and kills the wolf. Though a rather grizzly tale, it functions as a cautionary story to both children and adults: children shouldn’t go anywhere potentially dangerous unescorted and never talk to strangers; parents shouldn’t allow their children to go somewhere risky unsupervised and should teach them not to talk with strangers.
