Religiousity
...? He ‘prays’. And to whom dose he pray? The answer might be various according to one’s religion, could be god, a spirit, an angle or something else. Somehow, that shows us a very simple example that we, human beings, wish to connect to someone or something higher than ourselves. Like a little child, he reaches for his parents when he needs something, a man desire and/or wish to reaches to someone higher than him as well. A religion was also created because of the religiousity inside us. In my idea, ‘fear’ is the main motivation of religiousity. In an ancient time, we do not know the cause of lightening, waves, storm and other natural phenomena. And because we did not know why it happens nor we know how to control them, we were scared of them. We assumed that someone with super power has something to do with them, someone stronger, better, higher than normal person. So we created some rituals or ceremonies to worship that ‘one’ we created.
