...use he lies. It is allmost impossible to get an accurate picture of Nick because he hardly ever talks about himself and when he does, his opinion is biased. My overall impression of him is that he is too trustworthy. He doesn't believe what others tell him about Gatsby and he sides with him since the beginning. He is too naive and judges people by first impressions. By the end of the book he is very worn out and when Gastby dies, he tries his best to get as many people as he can to his funeral because that is what he thinks is right. When he and Jordan break up he says "I'm thirty. I'm five years too old to lie to myself and call it honor." So the experience with Gatsby and the others takes it's toll on him. Personall...
