The Cockroach comes from the order Orthoptera. Many of them have “hard” wings but most of them do not bother with flying. This kind of insect hides during the day and eats at night from dead plants and other animal materials. The Cockroach is an insect that humans do not like because they can pass on bacteria to human food sources and infect peoples houses. This is why people sometimes call this type of insect a pest. The order is the Mosquito is Diptera, which means “two wings”. So then, Mosquito’s must have two wings in which they do. In the Mosquito family they all have “soft” wings because most of them do fly. This kind of insect is always a little painful and can be annoying to humans. When a mosquito is biting you, it is sucking out your blood because that is their food along with other tiny insects that they also eat for food.
