...aling. Remember now, I live on a gravel road, filled with pot holes, loose rocks, soft spots and such. So learning tricks was no easy task when the road had so many obstacles. I road around the loop 1st, practiced the Pedaling No Hander, and the Coasting No Hander while standing up. Just to get the feel. Now I was ready. I was going to pull off the trick of the lifetime. I started down the hill, stood up, slowly lifted my hands off the handlebars, and took a pedal. All hell broke loose. Every thing was a blur. I went over the handlebars, tried to correct it but lost control. I flipped over the front, landed on my back with the bike on top of me. Sliding down the hill on my back, I was really regretting this stunt; then I came too a stop. I was crying before I stopped sliding. I laid there for about 2-3 minutes in the worst pain I had felt up to that point. Slowly I got up and took off my shirt. It was torn too ribbons, all blood soaked. That didn’t help the crying much.
