This proves that more complex species form from less complex species, depending on environment circumstances. According to Evolutionaries, you will not find fossils of highly developed species below the iridium layer of the Earth or fossils of ancient species above the iridium level. This theory has been proven true by excavations, and scientists have never found dinosaur and human remains together as Creationists believe. Another contradiction to the creation theory, the Evolutionaries believe, is if all species were created in one week and all the land animals were present on Noah’s ark, then all land species would be found both above and below the iridium layer which modern day science has already deemed untrue. Most Evolutionaries do not believe that there was a world-wide flood, contrary to the beliefs of Creationists. One major reason scientists believe this, is ancient Egyptian and Chinese writing, temples, pyramids, etc., that were present before the Great Flood, are still here today and would have been completely destroyed had the Great Flood occurred. Another argument against the Creation Theory is aimed against Noah and his ark. Including Noah, there were only eight people aboard the ark. If they took aboard two of each animal, there would be more than five million animals on the ark and only eight people to sort, house, look after, feed, water, and clean the stalls every day. This task would be impossible. It is also wondered how climate sensitive species survived with no climate control devices aboard the ship. Noah’s ark is said to have been 450 feet long and wooden. Replica ships have been made today, up to 300 feet, and these ships have required extensive metal reinforcing. These ships also leaked very bad and needed a large crew or mechanical water pumps to stay afloat. Metal was not available to Noah when he built the Ark and neither were water pumps. Scientists cannot find truth in the Ark story and have labeled it just that, a story. Another question asked is; if the Tower of Babel was constructed 110 years after the flood, how did the three fertile females left on the face of the Earth produce such a large number of descendants within six generations? Creation Creationists believe that the world was created billions of years ago by God. They believe that God created all kinds of animals over a relatively short period of time, as described in Genesis. They also believe that kinds of animals are fixed, no new ones are being created, but many changes within a kind have happened. The changes have happened so the animals could adapt to any changes in the environment for survival. Many creationists believe that dinosaurs were created not long before humans, but became extinct due to a massive asteroid that hit the earth and killed most of the dinosaurs.
