Later in their lives, they might have trouble caring for themselves, their children and keeping a job or home. When a pregnant woman drinks alcohol, so does her unborn baby. There is no known safe amount of alcohol to drink when pregnant. It is recommended that women DO NOT drink any alcohol at any time when pregnant. Fetal Alcohol Syndrome is completely preventable.
