Icebreaker - An essay on myself
...dy else’s. My day used to begin with a bucket of cold water being poured down on me to wake me up and then the usual grumpiness all the way to school. My mom being called every 10 minutes for my naughty behavior…u knows the usual. I’ve never been the studious type of a guy. Infact….I barely pass in my subjects. U must be thinking how this guy got into science. Don’t worry. I keep asking myself the same question...and another…why did I get into science!!! When I found out I had to leave Muscat, I was pretty depressed. U knows how it is…leaving old friends, making new ones. . When I was leaving Muscat I was reeeeeaaallly depressed. When I found out I was joining Indian high school I could’ve jumped of the top floor of the emirate towers. But after coming here I realized that I.H.S aint all that bad. People are really friendly, teachers are chilled out and the field is big. Now to my family….it comprises of me, dad, mom, sister and my turtle. My father works as a financial controller in a reputed company in Dubai. My mom’s a Hindi teacher in Delhi Private School, Gardens. My sister works as a financial analyst in CITI-BANK and she is the most annoying creature I’ve ever seen. She’s made my life like hell and vice versa. And...My turtle…..sits at home all day eating and sleeping. Now coming to my hobbies. I like: 1. Music which includes rap, hip-hop, r’n’b, techno…etc...Basically all club type music. I also like to play music and for that reason I used to be part of my school band where I’ve gotten many certificates for performing. 2. I like watching sports. I don’t mind playing them but I’m pathetic at everything except perhaps badminton and table tennis. 3. I like to make people laugh. I love being humorous and witty. I keep saying something or the other which makes everyone laugh…..especially in class. 4. I like to travel…like to visit new places…but only places with excitement. I’m not really into all that historical stuff which people find really beautiful n fascinating….I don’t quite see the beauty in rocks n stones n objects thousands o yrs old.. 5. I also like to swim. I have gotten medals for swimming but due to irregular practice I lost my touch and now I hardly ever swim. The most embarrassing moment in my life was when I was in 7th grade.
