Our stand is that we feel that professional sportsman play more for their interest rather than the money. We agree that money is indeed very important. Money can help us get what we need and want as many people will say, “nothing in this world is free”, everything has to be paid, so money is the factor. However, “money isn’t everything”.
If these sportsmen were not interested in their sports, they would not have such great skills to become professional (as one has to be highly skilled to be a professional). This is because one would not practice hard if they do not have the interest in what they do. ... Some people might argue that there is a probability that the professional sportsmen are interested in the money that the particular sport will earn them (e. ... As everyone knows, Michael Jordan is a professional basketball player and has retired from the basketball world quite a long time ago. Recently however, he has returned to play basketball again. ... He has played basketball for his whole life and the money he earned could last him for his whole life, thus, the reason that he returned is obvious. It is not about the money that he will earn but is his interest in basketball. This shows that the probability of professional sportsmen working hard for the sake of money is not true.
