Some people have confidence that cloning will give our globe a big change—a positive impact to human beings; others still keep suspecting attitude about cloning because they feel the development of cloning will destroy of our ethic. Cloning is the production which takes from one or more plants or animals. During the production, cloning will develop into an identical individual of the original one. There are different procedures of cloning: Adult DNA cloning: Remove the DNA from an embryo and replace Therapeutic cloning: The beginning procedure is the same as adult DNA cloning. The different between adult DNA cloning and therapeutic cloning is adult DNA cloning will be developed an identical of the original individual; therapeutic cloning would be developed a replacement organ, or piece of nerve tissue. Their common ground is it contains human DNA. Benefits of cloning: 1. Comparing with regular organ transplant donated, cloning could be a good news for sick people. Patients can get a new and health organ. Not only cloning can be use in organ transplant operation but also it can be apply to other serious disease like hearts’ lungs’, lovers’, and kidneys’ problems. It will rise the opportunity to cure their illness. Relatively, our life quality will be increased. 2. For infertile couples, cloning could give them another change to have a better child—a more intelligent, more beautiful child. 3. The research shows that the average person carries eight defective genes. Those defective genes can make people become sick. With human cloning, we may no longer suffer from sickness because of defective genes. Negative of cloning: 1. When cloning is successful, parents have money can give their children more advantages than parents don’t have money. It causes social problem between rich and poor people. 2. From some cloning experiments with rats and sheep, we can see many cases that the beginning is successful but they developed weird or have produced tumors at the end. 3. Pro-life supporters consider that cloning is a kind of murder. We can’t distinguish cloning is an embryo or a human person. There are still some examples about how technology reflects to our society. Technology is a good thing. If we can use it reasonable, we can make our life better and more convenient. On the other hand, when we use it irresponsibly, because of our selfish or lacking of knowledge, we may cause an unrescuable effect to our society, our environment, or our next generation. Due to the birth rate had dropped steadily, working-age people may not no long to look after old people in the future. The high-tech solution will solve our future problem. Those people don’t respect the human rights and ignore their social responsibility. Internet: Most of the technologies are positive for our society. They become negative because of people misuse them. The development of internet reduces the distance between people and people. However, it also makes a faster way to do illegal things.
