Flu Shot Shortages

Before he had the chance to go, he was told that they were all given out to people who came hours earlier than the actual time. This was a total unfair practice towards the others who had been waiting until the right time to get their flu shot. The company that supplied the vaccines had to make a recall, so the batch was all together destroyed. The effect of this was that doctors were not able to obtain the right amount of flu shots they needed. Also, ill people were unable to stand outside for hours upon hours in the harsh weather. An eighty year-old woman was reported to have died while waiting in line for her shot. A simple and easy solution to this problem would be to have a specific place for the elderly and ill-ridden, even a high school gym would have sufficed. Any place where it would be warm and comfortable for these people who just need to get a simple flu shot to save their lives would have helped immensely.
