kindergarden to high school
...we were ready to move on we studied bar graphs, fractions, multiplying and dividing numbers. When I learned to multiply and divide I noticed the relation between the to. If you are able to multiply you should defiantly be able to divide. A bar graph is a type of graph that is used to organize data and or easier to analyze the numbers contained in the bar graph. Fractions to me are fairly easy the, hardest part for me is when you have to simplify the big numbers or mixed numbers. The parts of a fraction are the denominator and the numerator. The denominator is on the bottom it tells how many hole pieces it is the numerator is on top and that shows how muck pieces the hole is broken up into. In the second, third, and fourth grade we really did not learn anything new but in the fifth grade we learned how to use, create, and read line graphs, we learned how to use, read, and create stem and leaf plots and we learned about mean, median, and the mode of numbers. Too successfully reach the mean of a number you must first add up all the numbers, then you divide by the number of numbers you added and that will be your mean. A line graph is the exact same things as a bar graph just subtract the bars. A frequency table or chart is conjoined with the line graph sometimes. In my freshman year in junior high school we learned how to use the math that was necessary in real life situations for example addition and subtracting real amounts meaning money sales tax, etc. We learned how to find the price of an item after the discount price...
