...lders who no one had ever seen, if something went out of line they woulr deal with it. te people had never felt pain, and once a person became too old they would be "released" what the people called being killed most of the citizens thought that being released meant leaving the community and going elsewhere. december was a very important time for children there. each year each child would be movied up a year;like a birthday but on the same day. each time they would recieave a new privilege or responsibility. for example, the new nines would get their own bicycle. the responsibility or job that jonas got was to be the recieaver of momories. when he bagan his training he learned about color, love, pains, and other things. when the giver gave the memories to him he realized that his town had no color, feeling or anything, no poverty, no divorce, everything was the same.jonas and the giver spent hours a plan that both of them felt confisent about it took many days to think of some...
