The way that the writer used to describe Lennie, readers could have an idea how giant was that man. Some other tiny thing things that he used to accentuate on the situation, make the novel as good as it is. Finally the end, in the end of the book, depression, and hopeless are obvious, and the writer used two ways to explain it. One is the way that Lennie died, for example, in the novel, Lennie saw ant Clara came to talk to him about George living him. Another way is the closing scene. The writer mentioned, after killing Lennie, George and Slim were twitched elbow to go and get a drink. Reading the book the book can explain how John Steinbeck inspired to write his thoughts; conversely, Gary Sinise has used his thoughts to put this scenario in movie; however, the movie is different to the novel in many ways.
