.... It was the first think a took into the consideration when analysing my potential suppliers. I was ranging proposed prices between 1 and 3(as there were three supplier taking a part in a tender) 1-conesponds to low price 2-coresponds to medium 3-coresponds to high price REFERENCES Very important aspect was if the potential supplier has already had experience with similar projects. So I was looking for evidences of experience with this type of work, views of existing and previous clients. 1-(using evidence provided) had gone one, not quite like mine 2-has done at least one very similar to mine 3- has dine several very similar to mine, successfully TECHNICAL ASSESSMENT Technical assessment focuses on whether each bid meet the technical requirements detailed in the specification- so it was necessary to conform that the tender goods fully comply with the specification. Very important think for me was to know what was the kind of equipment proposed to use for the work as well as suitability of the equipment to cover current and future needs. I also wanted to know if the equipment is going to be used solely for the contract. Again range from 1 to 3: 1-(base don review of credentials) has minimal or new competence in the market. 2- has average competence for organisation experienced in this area 3- is a leader in technical competence for this area STAFFING AND MANPOWER LEVELS I was interested in the proposed staffing levels for each task as well as qualification and skill level of the proposed staff. I would be beneficial for the company to be chosen if it would present additional staffing level to cover for sickness, leave, etc. 1-has people in training or experts are not available 2- has small number of experts and they are available 3- has many skilled experts for this area and they are available OFFICE/PLANT LOCATION It was important basically because in the housing estates unpredictable damages can appear from time to time and quick reaction is recommended.
