The more security have been put on Airports, train stations, bus stations etc. Furthermore, the economy went down, a lot of people lost their jobs. I can give my own experience, that I used to work as the machine operator in the company who manufacture copper pipes, copper tubes, copper wires, copper coils etc which were used in railway, Airplane helicopter etc. The company had stock a lot of material and because of this tragedy there were no plan being built and the company loss a lot of money. That’s why the company suddenly decided to give the entire 2nd shift lay off. I suffered so much because I had no job, and not a single company had hiring. Every company was giving lay off and makes the employees to work more with less money. After the calamity happened on September 11, I canceled all my plans to travel by airplanes. Kane stated that, “these are the same people canceling vacations and postponing airplane flights until things get a bit safer- as if things will ever again be a safe as you want them to be”. (kane 416) Every day I heard in the news that people have cancelled there vacation and cancelled there business trips because of another attack on airplanes or they can be used for destroying something else. Two months later, there were a news article in star ledger stated that there were no rush on airport, and the airlines were loosing money because no body want to fly. Kane said that, “Flying, for example, Air travel on commercial airlines has decreased more than 50% since the terriost attacks. At a time when it’s of paramount importance to demonstrate courage and commitment that our way of life can’t be eroded by an unknown danger, many Americans have wimped out big time”.(kane 416) Also, there is so much cost of flying the plane with 20 or 25 passengers.
