... the accompaniment could have been better. We should have attacked the notes stronger although our dynamics were correct. Overall for this song, the rhythm came together to make a great opening piece. Our second number we performed was entitles We Shepherds Sing. This song was performed a cappella, or it had no instrumental accompaniment. After practicing the song plenty of times, the rhythms couldn’t have been better. The balance between the basses and the tenors was a little off but that could have also been because of the lack of tenors in the choir. Every section also performed the dynamics of this song to perfection. This assembled to be the best song of the night. The last piece the chorale performed was The Three Kings. The tenors really came through in this number to give the song good balance. This song was also performed a cappella, which allowed everybody to listen better. This created for good intonation and pitch. Our rhythms were also good for this song between the tenors and basses. This song also featured the best dynamics of the night to let the chorale go out with a bang. The cavalier choir didn’t have its greatest performance ever.
