Acid Rain
...When this happens the rain can contaminate water supplies and erode buildings. Places in the united states of America in which acid rain occurs in most northeastern states but mostly occurs around the great lakes region. This is probably due to the fact that the sulfur dioxide has more air moisture to mix with in areas with more water such as lake areas. Acid rain as a whole, however, does not occur seasonally. Acid rain usually happens from car exhaust, factory fumes, and burning coal. We do not use these things seasonally so acid rain does not occur seasonally. Acid rain affects people with lung disorders more then it does people who do not have them because they have trouble breathing and the acid rain makes their lungs and passageways worse. Other living things that are affected by acid rain are many forms of aquatic life.
