Threw out the book you see that they are hard working family with a few problems one of the main problems would be the personal hatred that takes place between Willie and biff. In comparison both books take place during a time were a lot of people were struggling and trying there hardest to complete the American dream to there full ability. They also both have strong female figures threw the book who well put aside problems just so that they are able to please and provide for there family’s. Some differences would be that they come from different race backgrounds and happen to be in different positions. Although in Raisin in the sun the family was struggling they still were able to be happy with each other in the end. But in death of a salesman the continued to struggle now that the man of the house had died. A lot of people don’t realize that just as history repeats itself modern English does the same thing yet it is able to change in many different forms. IN the two stories written by two different authors from two different backgrounds you are able to see that change is something that is used in English literature a lot and by creating and adapting to new cultures are even family values you are able to see that it is possible for the every day family who has struggled can relate to any of these families. In the story raisin in the sun you were able to see a struggling family who gets a large check due to the death of the younger family father. They then decide to buy a house so that they can move on with there life. In Death of a salesman it shows a dishonest father by the name of Willie loman as he goes threw trouble heart ache wondering why his family can’t work together.
