His worldwide terrorist network, Al Queda, played a central role in September 11th 2001, multiple plane hijackings, and arranged attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. The Saudi Exill has been directly linked to the 1998 bombing of the U.S. embassies, killing 224 people, and the October 2000 bombing attack on the U.S.S. Cole in Yemen. In 1998, Bin Laden issued a religious edict to his followers " to kill the Americans, their allies, civilians, and military. Since the attack on September 11th, we are not the people we used to be.
