These two characters in this scene symbolises their emotional affection for each other. The first meeting of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ in Act I Scene 5 was in an atmosphere where a veil took place in a fancy dress party. Romeo’s affection of love was expressed in words, ‘If I profane with my unworthiest hand’. The language in the scene was very persuasive and romantic imagery of love while these characters were expressing their feelings for each other, on the other hand there also was a friction between ‘Tybalt’ who was Juliet’s cousin. There was a fusion between the Capulet’s and the Montague’s that had a restriction between the romance of Romeo and Juliet.
