...oles. Neither lambs nor chicken... However, I believe foxes are serious pests to farmers as farmer’s report of loss of livestock due to foxes frequently. Making the argument balanced, I am also against foxhunting, because I think that it is quite unnecessary to put an animal through so much fear before getting killed. Some people, such as those in the League against Cruel Sports, argue that foxhunting is very cruel, as the foxhunters make the foxes sprint a long, long way and when they go for cover, as their sets are blocked up!! What is this world coming to?!?! Furthermore, maybe foxes do kill some animals, but despite the, foxes-kill-livestock myth, only 0.5 percent of lambs are killed by foxes!! The main reason for the death of lambs is to meet the needs of the food trade In foxhunting, there are many bad things about foxhunting: • Foxes are outnumbered • Their deaths are violent and painful • Foxhunters kill about 12500 foxes a year!!! • Foxhunters block up dug-outs and animal sets so foxes have to run for a longer, much more exhausting time. • Foxhunting is just CRUEL!!!
