The pay for a tattoo artist is the same deal as the glass blowers. But instead of a station with a display case they will have a chair, and plenty of lighting to make sure that your tattoo is done right, and to the best of the artist’s abilities. In my company I feel you should be rewarded for your work, and that is why I have display cases separating the glass of one blower from another. The reward is putting your name out there, so the new, young generation of glass blowers can get as famous as Jerome Baker. Marketing plan My primary competition is the other local head shops. But you can also order your glass off the Internet or out of a magazine. The only reason the head shops has more of an effect on my business, is because people like to hold and see what they are going to buy. But if you order your glass out of a magazine or off the internet you will find the prices to be much more reasonable. People who are interested in buying my product are who want to buy fine glass for a cheap price, and if you are over 18 years old then you are my primary target.
