This will help you to decided whether or not you want to travel, and if in fact you do it will affect further decisions in the planning process, making certain that your vacation will be safe. Now that I am are aware of the hazards of traveling I can chose a destination, this is the first step to planning a vacation. It is very important to ask yourself the reasons why you are planning a trip, so that you can find out the type of vacation you will be going on. My vacation can be any of the nine different types, it might be for business purposes or health purposes, whatever my desire may be. This is important because after learning the many types of vacations I know what my options are and I can now further plan my vacation. This will help when selecting accommodations and planning other aspects of my trip. I can now follow the rest of the seven steps for booking a trouble free vacation. This will smoothly guide me through the planning process making you aware of everything to expect. Following the steps will help me budget, help me find out more about my destination, provide me with tips about money and prepare me for take-off. I will be sure to research the hotels and activities available for my destination so that I can fulfill any personal wishes I might have. I can also calculate the entire cost of my vacation, including taxes, gratuities and insurance. Therefore, I will not be cheated out of my own money or surprised by any hidden costs. I will be aware of exactly what I am paying for and know if it is reasonable. This is a very important skill to have when booking a vacation. Knowing the seven steps and how to calculate the full cost you will be paying can almost promise a trouble free vacation. When on vacation, there are certain skills that a tourist should know. From the first day of the trip, which is take off, I will know the airport symbols. Before I reach my destination I can find out what time will be when I arrive incase it might be in a different time zone. When I arrive in my destination I might be traveling by foot, bus or car, whatever it may be I will know the road map symbols to help me identify my surroundings. This information is useful to know no matter where you go. It will help you get around from place to place and make your travel more simple.
