All students were occupied talking to each other while walking quickly to their classes in order not to be late. I felt considerably awkward standing like a foreign without knowing how to act. Soon a teacher came and showed me the way to my classroom. The moment I stepped in, I could feel that everyone was staring at me. I slightly lowered my head down in order not to feel embarrassed. The teacher introduced me to the others and showed me the where to sit. I was trying hard to hide my nervousness so as not to leave a bad first impression. After the third period the bell rang for break. One of the girls came to me and started chatting with me after introducing herself. She explained what the school was like, where the cafeteria was and introduced her friends to me. I did not really say much but was glad to have friends finally. After the break I forgot my nervousness because everyone was so cooperative and friendly.
